Safe Quality Food
Due to challenges in today’s food supply chain, many of the world's largest food retailers are mandating supplier certification to Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) programs.

Consumers now expect higher standards of safety and quality from their retailers and food service providers, who in turn expect more from their suppliers. Our products are food service ready, so that includes us. Retailers and food service providers are now asking suppliers to provide proof that robust food safety and quality control systems have been implemented.
Safe Quality Foods (SQF) provides organizations with a rigorous system to manage food safety risks and provide safe products. The SQF Code offers a solution for primary producers, manufacturers, distributors and brokers by creating one standard for food safety from farm to fork… or sport bottle.
SQF is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and administered by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI). This certification allows food safety and quality systems to be verified and validated throughout the food chain, increasing brand protection, consumer confidence and loyalty.
In 2014, we started down the path of achieving Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certification. We invested in additional personnel, equipment and adopted new processes with a goal to become fully compliant by 2015. In 2015, we completed our goal. We received a 90% on our first SQF audit, in 2016 we received a 93% and this year we received a 95% on our first unannounced audit. We are committed to continually achieving excellence with this trusted source for global food safety and quality certification.
